Quick start

From an empty inbox to your AI answering, in an afternoon. Connect your channels, teach it your business, put it live.

Getting your AI answering customers is mostly a conversation with it rather than a setup form. You connect your channels, give it your real policies, and look at what it does with them. Everything below can be done in an afternoon, and connecting the channels takes minutes.

Your channels

Go to Settings > Channels and connect the places customers already write to you.

  • Email. Sign in with Google, or forward your own domain and add the DNS records Konvo gives you.
  • WhatsApp. Bring your existing business number, history included, or start a new one through Meta.
  • Live chat. On Shopify, install the app and enable the widget in your theme, no code. Anywhere else, paste one script into your site.

Connect all of them if you have all of them. There is no advantage in going slowly: a channel you have not connected is customers waiting for a person, which is what already happens today.

Teach it your business

Open your agent and talk to it. It will ask you questions and tell you what it still needs, so you are not guessing at what to provide.

The fastest way to make it good is to hand over what you already have:

  • Point it at your website. It goes and reads it, comes back with your products and how you describe them, and tells you what it could not find.
  • Upload your documents. The notes you wrote to train your support team. Your policies. Your macros. Exports of past conversations. If a new hire would read it, your agent should have it.
  • Tell it the things that only live in someone's head. Where to check an order when a customer asks about theirs, when to give a discount, what you never promise.

Then let it run simulations. It invents the awkward scenarios itself, plays them out, and you approve or correct the results.

Put it live

Save, switch on Agent is live, and tick the channels it should handle.

Leave it on Always unless you have a specific reason not to. A support AI that clocks off at six is not answering the messages people send at nine, which is when a lot of them arrive.

Then watch it work

Open your inbox. What you see by default is your work, not everything happening, because the view is filtered to exclude your agent.

Its work is under Konvo AI: what it is handling now, what it resolved on its own, and what it passed to a person.

And when it needs you, it will say so: a drafted reply waiting for approval, or a single task with the context attached. Clear one of each and you have done the whole daily loop.

What good looks like in the first week

Not a perfect agent. An agent that answers your most common questions the way you would, and asks about the rest.

Give it real volume before you judge the numbers. On day one you are reading its replies to see if you would have sent them. By the end of the week you should be correcting fewer of them, and the automation rate starts meaning something.
