Build your own dashboards
The presets are useful defaults rather than the limit. Which one answers which question, and how to build the one that is missing.
A dashboard is a set of charts sharing one date range and one set of filters. The ones Konvo gives you are useful defaults rather than the limit, so once you can build one you are no longer restricted to the questions we thought to ask.
Which preset answers which question
Most of the time one of these already covers it, so start here before building.
- Overview answers "is today normal?"
- AI Performance answers "is my agent earning its place, and where does it stop?"
- Team Performance answers "how is my team doing, and how do they compare to the AI?"
- Workload answers "are we keeping up with what is coming in?"
If your question is not one of those four, that is when you build.
Reshaping a preset
Every preset has Edit metrics in the top right. Toggle metrics on or off, drag to reorder, then save. Save before you navigate away, because unsaved changes do not survive a reload.
This is the cheapest improvement available in Analytics: a preset showing four metrics you never look at is four metrics of noise around the one you do.
Building your own
New dashboard, and name it after the question it answers rather than the area it covers. "Are refunds getting slower" beats "Refunds".
Add chart, pick a metric, and choose how to show it: a single number, a line, bars, or a table.
Arrange and resize on the grid.
Save it as Shared or Private.
Every chart on it uses the dashboard's date range and filters, so you are building one coherent view rather than a wall of unrelated charts.
Shared or private
Private while you are still deciding whether a dashboard is any good. Shared once it answers a question the team should be looking at together.
That order matters more than it sounds. A shared dashboard gets quoted in meetings, and one that nobody quite trusts is worse than no dashboard at all.
One number is not a dashboard
The mistake worth avoiding: a dashboard with a single big figure on it tells you nothing you could not have read from a preset.
Put the thing you care about next to the thing that explains it. Automation rate beside the categories your agent escalates. Resolution time beside volume, because resolution time always rises when volume does and that is not a quality problem. Pairs make a dashboard worth opening twice.
